Outfit Advice Proven and Tested
My Bike Month post is a bit late, but bikes don't care about calendars. 🚲
One of the biggest myths about biking is that you need special clothes, special shoes, or a complete wardrobe change waiting at the office.
Sometimes that's true—if you're riding a long distance on a hot day. But for many everyday trips, regular clothes work just fine.
Case in point: yes, you can bike in a dress.
After years of field testing, I've learned a few things:
👗 Choose stretchy over stiff.
👗 If you are wearing a miniskirt, be prepared to share more than you intended with your fellow travelers.
👗 A step-through bike makes getting on and off much easier (and much more graceful).
The best bike outfit isn't necessarily bike clothes. It's the outfit that lets you get where you're going.
What have you successfully biked in that people would never expect?
