Arizona Sunrise

I moved from the Midwest to Phoenix and was excited to finally ditch my car for my daily commute. The weather was perfect for cycling, and I loved every mile of my 12-mile ride. The only catch was I had to leave before sunrise—otherwise I’d arrive at work completely drenched. Still, nothing compared to cruising along the path while watching cars sit in traffic on the highway. I’ll never forget the sunrises I saw each morning, or how grateful I felt to be on my bike in the middle of winter.
