Our company The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's Manila site allows folding bikes all the way up to the lobby, which makes cycling a real, practical option. No hunting for parking, no waiting around. Just roll in and go.
What surprised me most? The commute is actually quicker—both going to work and heading back home. While traffic crawls, the bike keeps moving.
That said, biking in Manila isn’t for the careless. The heat is unforgiving, and the traffic demands full awareness. Hydration, planning, and defensive riding are non‑negotiables.
